Lucile and the Idleness of the Mechanical Men is a bizarre a parable about our obsession with gadgets and our dependance on machines.
An old man creates wind up, mannequin-like, robots to keep women company in a future where men are going extinct but women are thriving.
In a time without men, sex is not fully understood, male names have to be chosen from books, procreation is scarce and the few men left must make daily sperm donations to keep the species going.
An ice age is upon us! Electricity is no longer in use! And letting robots read for themselves is a dangerous affair, for you never know what they may learn!
